Welcome Day for foreign students in the summer semester of the academic year 2018/2019.

With the beginning of the summer semester of the academic year 2018/2019. 107 foreign students, academic and administrative staff come to the University of Sarajevo. These are scholarship recipients who come through various mobility programs financed by the European Commission, such as Erasmus +, CEEPUS, MEVLANA, Visegrad Fund, but also on the basis of bilateral cooperation agreements between our and partner universities in the world. The duration of their stay in our country is from one semester (5 months) to one academic year (10 months).

The International Cooperation Service of the University of Sarajevo has organized an orientation program aimed at familiarizing foreign students, teachers and associates with our university, its history, tradition and culture, as well as the history, tradition, culture and customs of our city and country, ie provide them with all the necessary academic and practical information. Within the framework of the orientation program, the Welcome Day was held on Monday, March 4, 2019, in the Rectorate of the University of Sarajevo. Foreign students were presented with the necessary academic and practical information, they also got acquainted with BH. students from the University of Sarajevo, who also participated in exchange projects, and will have the opportunity to visit the significant tourist destinations of the city of Sarajevo and our country.
