UNSA Music Academy is pleased to announce the concert of pianist Azra Medić, which will be held as part of this year's concert season in the Bosniak Institute Adil Zulfikarpašić Hall, on Tuesday, 22 December 2020, at 19:00.
 
Azra Medić is a BH pianist that studied piano at the UNSA Academy of Music, in the class of Professor Neda Stanković, and graduated in 2006 in the class of Professor Boris Kraljević. In 2007, she completed postgraduate studies with Professor Đuro Tikvica at the Music Academy in Zagreb. He completed his postgraduate studies at the Academy of Music in Kassel in the class of Professor Ivan Urvalov and the Academy of Music in Freiburg with Professor Elza Kolodin. She has given a number of concerts in BiH and abroad: Croatia, Montenegro, Italy, Greece, France, Austria, Germany. Throughout her piano career, she has studied at master classes of many eminent professors, such as Neda Stanković, Rudolf Kehrer, Igor Khudolei, Diane Anderson, Noel Flores, Martin Hughes, Boris Kraljević, Đuro Tikvica, Peter Feuchtwanger, Leslie Howard, Christopher Taylor and others. . She has won special and first prizes at Federal and international competitions, including the Città di Gorizia in Italy, Nicolaï Rubinstein in Paris, Roma in Rome, the International Competition for Pianists and Piano Ensembles F. Chopin, E. Grieg, F. Mendelssohn in Moscow. . Since 2012, she has been working as an assistant at the UNSA Music Academy, and 2016 as an assistant professor. She is a student of the Third cycle of studies in the class of Prof. Alexander Serdar.
 
In a concert evening filled with works by composers of different stylistic epochs, as well as completely different individual artistic sensibilities, sonatas by Domenico Scarlatti, Franz Joseph Haydn, Aleksandar Scriabin, Galina Ustvolskaja and John Cage will come to life under the fingers of artist Azra Medić.
