Agreement on business cooperation signed between the UNSA Faculty of Transport and Communications and the Faculty of Transportation in Doboj
For five decades, the University of Sarajevo Faculty of Transport and Communications has been educating staff in two different departments - the Department of Transport, which specializes in road, rail and air transport, and the Department of Communications, which specializes in communication, postal and computer information technology in accordance with 3 + 2 + 3 study system (three years of first cycle studies, two years of second cycle studies and three years of third cycle studies - doctoral studies).
The Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering in Doboj is a higher education scientific institution that organizes studies of all cycles according to the 4 + 1 + 3 system, within which students are provided with knowledge and continuing professional education and training, conduct basic, applied and development research in traffic, roads, informatics, traffic and motor vehicles.
On 22 January 2021, the Faculty of Transport and Communications signed an Agreement on Business Cooperation with the Faculty of Transportation in Doboj, University of East Sarajevo. The aim of the agreement is the exchange of scientific and professional knowledge and experience, cooperation between departments and departments, harmonization of curricula in order to pass students of the first, second and third cycle of studies, exchange of staff in the teaching process, professional development, organization of symposia and other scientific - professional gatherings.
Faculty of Transport and Communications Dean, Prof. Dr. Amel Kosovac emphasized that the result of this Agreement will be beneficial for students through student exchanges. In addition to education, he emphasized the joint performance and cooperation in the preparation of studies, studies and local and international projects.
Dean of the Faculty of Transportation in Doboj Prof. Dr. Zoran Ćorguz believes that this is a very important agreement because these are the only two public faculties for traffic in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He also emphasized that the Faculty of Transportation in Doboj has extremely good cooperation and experience with the economy. This agreement represents a step forward for quality, innovation, flexibility and compliance with the needs and requirements of sustainable development of transport and communication systems.
