Student Support Office Activities

Ured za podršku studentima bit će nosilac brojnih aktivnosti u procesu tranzicije studenata s invaliditetom ka tržištu rada

On Tuesday, 22 May 2018, a meeting was attended by representatives of the UNSA Student Support Office, Prof. Dr. Lejla Kafedžić and Doz. Dr. Lejla Hodžić, Director and Assistant Director of the Association of Employers of FBiH, Mladen Pandurević and Zlatan Dedić, representative of the Fund for Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment of Disabled People in FBiH, Vinko Jerinić, and the Director and representative of the Profile Management Consulting Agency, Biljana Kokeza and Amra Džindo.

The meeting is the result of joint reflections from the realization of dissemination activities within the Trans2Work Erasmus+ project program at the University of Sarajevo, which aims to support students with disabilities in the process of transition from higher education to labor market.

The established cooperation is also an initial phase in the planning of concrete measures for the employment of students with disabilities, since it ensures the participation of actors relevant to the inclusion of persons with disabilities, from educational institutions to employers. Although the planned activities relate to a specific students category, they certainly represent a valuable corpus of experiences applicable to the entire student population, which also ensures the support of students in general.

The Student Support Office will be the carrier of numerous activities in the process of transition of students with disabilities to the labor market. At the current stage, it is about the registration and motivation of students with disabilities, but in the near future, with the existing resources, the Office can respond to numerous challenges defined through its tasks.
