In 2021 it will be 700 years since the death of Dante Alighieri (1265-1321). This significant anniversary will be marked by numerous events, aimed at reminding the figure and work of one of the greatest writers of all time. In honor of this jubilee, a conference will be held at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo on Thursday, 12 December 2019 (Room 82), bringing together scientists from different parts of the Balkans to talk about Dante, his poetry, his importance in the Balkans, possible research topics for students, and ways to spread his work.
