USD BOSNA 70th Anniversary Celebrated

In the National Theater Sarajevo, the ceremony marking the 70th  Anniversary of the University Sports Society “Bosna” was organized on 7December  2017, at which achievements of numerous athletes who represented USD “Bosna” during all these years were presented.
On behalf of the University of Sarajevo, Prof. Zijad Mehić, Vice-Rector for Culture, Arts and Sports addressed attendees emphasizing the importance of the USD “Bosna” which was founded in 1947 at the University of Sarajevo, and established on the principles of sport and physical education as universal categories.
Within anniversary marking, an exhibition of photographs “Reminders on the Participants of the First Sports Success” was opened, which shows about 50 photos submitted by athletes from their archives.
