University of Sarajevo promotes on Saturday 5161 BA and MA graduates
The University of Sarajevo Graduation and Diplomas Awarding Ceremony will be held at the Zetra Olympic Hall – “Juan Antonio Samaranch” in Sarajevo on 7 December 2019, starting at 11:00.
University of Sarajevo Rector, Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj, Vice-Rectors and Faculty/Academy Deans will promote 5161 BA and MA graduates at the ceremony.
In the Zetra Olympic Hall – “Juan Antonio Samaranch,” all first, second and integrated first and second cycle studies graduates will be awarded diplomas, including the special University of Sarajevo awards: University of Sarajevo Gold Badge, University of Sarajevo Silver Badge and the University of Sarajevo Charter.
The 192 most successful first, second and the integrated study program of I and II cycles students, of which we are extremely proud, will receive the special awards.
Golden Badge Award for 56 students:
- I cycle - 37 students
- II cycle - 16 students
- 1st and 2nd integrated study programs cycle - 3 students
Silver Badge Award for 128 students
- I cycle - 81 students
- II cycle - 35 students
- 1st and 2nd integrated study programs cycle - 12 students
University of Sarajevo Charter for 8 students
- I cycle - 5 students
- II cycle - 3 students
The most successful first cycle students in the academic year 2018/2019 are:
- Amna Muhamedović, Faculty of Law, an average grade 10.00;
- Ajdin Palavrić, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, an average grade 10.00;
- Damir Medunjanin, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, an average grade 10.00.
The University of Sarajevo Graduation and Diplomas Awarding Ceremony is organized with the media partners support: TV Sarajevo, Antena Sarajevo, Dnevni Avaz and Oslobođenje.

The University of Sarajevo celebrates its 70th Anniversary this year. The University founding day – 2 December, an inseparable part of the contemporary Bosnian society and state was marked by the Solemn Senate Session and University of Sarajevo Professor Emeritus Promotion Ceremony and the National Theater Ceremony.
The celebration continues with the Graduation and Diplomas Awarding Ceremony, followed by the Doctors of Science/Arts Promotion – 19 December 2019 at 13:00 (National Theater Sarajevo) and the Music Academy Gala Concert - 19 December 2019 at 19:00 (National Theater Sarajevo).
