THE SUCCESSFUL ENDING OF THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IPSA19BIH AT THE FACULTY OF POLITICAL SCIENCES

An international conference “Diversity and Democratic Governance: Legacies of the Past, Present Challenges, and Future Directions?” was held at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Sarajevo from 12 to 15 June 2019.
 
The conference organizers were the International Association of Political Science (IPSA) - Research Committee 14 “Politics and Ethnicity” and Faculty of Political Sciences in Sarajevo. The conference was supported by the City of Sarajevo and the University of Sarajevo.

The conference brought together 200 scientists from the field of political science and related disciplines from all over the world (USA, Brazil, Pakistan, Japan, Ireland, Belgium, Russia, Switzerland, the UK, the Philippines, Hungary, Australia, Denmark, Austria, Germany, etc.) .

Kanchan Chandra from the University of New York was an introductory lecturer and delivered a lecture. The conference is accompanied by domestic and foreign media, and through social networks with the hashtag # ipsa19bih
