The ongoing process of University of Sarajevo institutional re-accreditation

As a part of implementing institutional re-accreditation, the Commission of National and International Experts for University of Sarajevo Quality Evaluation and Quality Review and Recommendation is staying at the University from 12 to 14 June 2019.
On 18 March 2019, the University of Sarajevo submitted a request for institutional re-accreditation to the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth SC. On the proposal of the Ministry, the Agency for Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance of BiH appointed the Commission and defined the term external evaluation. The Commission, appointed by the Agency for the Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance of BiH, consists of five members, two representatives of academic community, an international expert, a representative of business and practice, and a student: Prof. Dr. Sead Pašić, President, Prof. Dr. Dejan Bokonjić, Prof. Dr. Dražan Kozak, Boris Ćurković and Amer Mujičić.
In order to examine the situation and collect the information necessary for the implementation of the reaccreditation process, a series of meetings with various internal and external target groups have been organized, among which are: academic community representatives, student population representatives, businessmen, various expert and advisory bodies representatives, and a series of visit to the University of Sarajevo organizational units.
The aim of the whole day program of working meetings is to check the fulfillment of the prescribed criteria for the re-accreditation of higher education institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
