International Symposium “Man-Forest-Science” 2nd Day

Within the “Man - Forest – Science” (PEFOSS) organized to mark the 70th  Faculty of Forestry’s anniversary, opened in Sarajevo on 10 October 2018, through the seven panels, experts from forestry and horticulture, focused on current achievements in research, protection, breeding, exploitation and sustainable management of forests and urban greenery. Special emphasis was placed on preserving forests as the most important environmental factor and mitigating the effects of climate change.
The panels were preceded by lectures delivered by world renowned experts: Prof. Dr. Achim Dohrenbusch, Georg August University of Gottingen, Prof. Dr. Milan Glavaš, Faculty of Forestry in Zagreb, Kastamonu University Vice-Rector, Prof. Dr. Sezgin Ayan, and Academician Vladimir Beus, BH Academy of Sciences and Arts (ANUBiH) member.
