”Danubius Young Scientist Award 2018” Call for Nominations

The Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (BMBWF) and the Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe (IDM) will grant awards with the intention to honor young researchers with extraordinary achievements in their scientific activity.

This year’s award will be presented to 14 young researches - one for each country that is a part of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region - Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Romania and Ukraine.

The purpose of this award is to highlight the scientific work, young researchers’ talent and boost the scientific community’s importance in the region and encourage young researchers to engage in research on Danube Region related issues.

The award will be endowed with 1.200 EUR per each young scientist award winner.

The deadline for submitting nominations from the University of Sarajevo organizational units is Wednesday, 27 June 2018. The nominations are to be submitted to the UNSA Research Office at e-mail ajla.causevic@unsa.ba.
