Amel Tuka Received University of Sarajevo Medal

The University of Sarajevo Rectorate gave the reception for the best Balkan athlete and the sportsman in 2019 by the selection of the BiH Olympic Committee. Mr. Tuka and his trainer Gianni Ghidini were received by University in Sarajevo Rector, Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj, Academician Dr. Dejan Milošević, President of the Science Council, Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr. Dženana Husremović, Prof. Dr. Aida Hodžić and Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Nikolić, and Prof. Dr. Eldin Jelešković, Faculty of Sports and Physical Education.
Upon the occasion of celebrating the University of Sarajevo’s 70th anniversary, Rector Škrijelj awarded Amel Tuka with University of Sarajevo Medal for outstanding achievements and top results in Athletics at the national and international level and winning a silver medal at the Doha World Cup.
Amel Tuka expressed his gratitude for today's reception and said that he was honored and privileged by receiving the University of Sarajevo Medal. Mr. Tuka also used the opportunity to congratulate to the University of Sarajevo on the occasion of celebrating its 70th anniversary.
