Academician Dejan Milošević during his entire career paid attention to popularizing science and working with young people. He was the head of the BiH team for the first participation of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the International Physics Olympiad in Oslo, Norway in 1996, and for other participation in Sudbury, Canada, 1997. He was a member of scientific and organizational boards of several international scientific conferences. Special emphasis is on the organization of the 20th International Laser Physics Workshop (LPHYS'11). Academician Milošević received the scholarship of Alexander von Humboldt 1999/2000. years. He participates in a series of scientific-research projects. Particularly interesting is the VolkswagenStiftung (2001-2008) and the Humboldt project Alexander von within the Link of the Research Group program in collaboration with the Max-Born Institute in Berlin (2010). This project is co-financed by the scientific research of the Samophys group, the establishment of computer clusters and the organization of conferences LPHYS'11.

It should be emphasized that he spent almost his entire working life since 1982 in scientific research institutions in BiH.
At the University of Sarajevo, Academician Milošević performed several functions.
