“Man - Forest – Science” (PEFOSS 2018) International Symposium
The “Man - Forest – Science” (PEFOSS 2018) International Symposium will be held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina from 10 to 12 October 2018.
The PEFOSS 2018 is an ideal academic background for researchers with the aim of presenting the latest results, leading technologies and trends in forestry and horticulture development. The Symposium will contribute to presenting the latest research and achievements in all aspects, and for the purpose of innovation in the development of forestry and horticulture, both in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in Europe.
The goal of the Symposium PEFOSS 2018 is bringing together leading scientists, researchers, students and practitioners in one place, for exchanging and transferring knowledge and experience in the forestry and horticulture fields. The PEFFOS 2018 Symposium will be an interdisciplinary forum for scientists, engineers and practitioners to present the latest results, ideas, achievements and educational programs related to forestry and horticulture.
The Symposium’s Program divided in six sections is focused on current achievements in research, protection, breeding, exploitation and sustainable management of forests and urban greenery. Particular emphasis is placed on their role in preserving the environment and mitigating the effects of climate change.
The PEFOSS 2018 symposium is one of the events marking the 70th anniversary of the Faculty of Forestry in Sarajevo, one of the oldest higher education institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
