INGEB hosts four-day meeting within COST action “DNAquaNet“

From 25th to 28th September 2017, University of Sarajevo-Institute for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (INGEB) hosts series of meetings and workshops within pan-European COST project “Developing new genetic tools for bioassessment of aquatic ecosystems in Europe - DNAquaNet” (action code CA15219). Aim of this EU financed project is to analyze and evaluate current protocols for sampling, metabarcoding and data analysis of plant and animal species from European aquatic ecosystems, with particular focus on indicator species. Project gathers 33 European countries, with Albania, Georgia, Iran, USA, New Zealand and Canada as partner countries.

First two days are reserved for the meetings of the management committee, while practical workshop titled “Theory of development of molecular indices“ will be held on Thursday, 27 September 2017. Working groups meetings will be held on the last day.
