Emigration Studies: Bosnia and Herzegovina Presentation

The Center for Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Sarajevo is organizing the launch of a study on Emigration Studies: Bosnia and Herzegovina, to be held in the Center (UNSA Campus) on 24 February 2020 at 15:00.

The results of the research will be presented by the authors: Academician Miloš Trifković, Prof. Dr. Melika Husić-Mehmedović, Prof. Dr. Adnan Efendić, Doz. Dr. Lejla Turulja and Doz. Dr. Mirza Emirhafizović.

It is a research of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, sponsored by the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the research team was led by Prof. Dr. Muris Čičić.

The issue of emigration was addressed from interdisciplinary approach, based on national and international official data, and extensive qualitative and quantitative research was conducted throughout BiH. The intentions and motives for emigration are presented, as well as the implications and recommendations for future actions of all levels of government.

Given the topicality of the topic being addressed, and the interdisciplinary scientific-research approach, this study is of utmost importance for both academia and the wider community.
